Dragon Fruit

My new running shoes felt like soft clouds on my feet as I splashed through the puddles on my run this morning.  I hadn't gotten to run since Wednesday of last week.  After spending more than 2 days riding in an airplane, to get to Thailand from Texas, it was wonderful to run!  The 77 degree morning was combined with a light shower and high humidity.  I only slipped once--for a second--and decided to take it easy on the wet roads.  Seeing the lush green grass and trees, the blue/green hill in the distance, and the low white fog was splendid.  I din't see any snakes; however, I saw some worms.  I've heard sometimes pythons are seen my runners and bikers.

Now I'm sitting at a table typing this blog.  The bowl of fruit in the picture is in front of me.  I've already eaten the bananas and soon we will eat some of the dragon fruit.

Last night we ate at the Big C food court.  Eva had rice w/soy-sauce, and gyoza.  Food courts make us want to learn the Thai language so we know what we are ordering and how to ask for some things to be added or left out.  One booth offered extra chicken innards for only 30 cents extra.

The food was delicious!

Today we will go and search for a place to live with the help of a great service here.
